Do I have to enter a mobile phone number to set up my Phyn account on the Phyn app? Can I enter a landline phone number instead?

Phyn is designed to send messages to your mobile phone using both SMS and push alerts, requiring you to be on a mobile device.

You must enter a mobile phone number during account setup. If you enter a landline phone number instead of a mobile phone number, you will receive an error message and will not receive alerts on your phone.

If you’d prefer to move forward with account setup without entering a mobile number, you can opt to receive email notifications instead. If you change your mind in the future, you can enter your mobile number in Settings – Account.
